Tsuki Suite

Experience the extraordinary “only in Ureshino” at “Tsuki Suite”

The guest rooms of “Tsuki Suite” are designed under the slogan of two SDGs: “Discovery and Reuse of Local Tourism Resources” and “Revitalization of Local Economic Circulation”. We will provide a space where tourists who stay at our guest rooms will be exposed to and become interested in Ureshino's industries and businesses, and will be inspired to go out into the town of Ureshino and visit its industries, businesses, and producers.

The SDGs of WARAKUEN with two messages

The SDGs of WARAKUEN with two messages

Reuse of “Hizen Yoshida-yaki” resources for guest rooms. Ceramic artworks are turned into art and displayed in guest rooms.

The first point is the use of Hizen Yoshida-yaki, Ureshino's pottery, for guest room decorations. 4 out of 5 rooms are decorated with ceramic pieces from Hizen Yoshida-yaki, and ceramic piece art was created in the guest rooms. It is said that when 100 pieces of porcelain are fired, about 10% of them become unprofitable due to various reasons such as cracks, splinters, cracks, and distortions. This 10% is disposed of as industrial waste. The ceramics, which were to be discarded as industrial waste, are used as guest room decorations, leading to the discovery and effective utilization of a local tourism resource.

The SDGs of WARAKUEN with two messages

Experience local tourism resources and connect with local industries, businesses, and producers in a “unique Ureshino” stay.

As the second point, we provide a guest room space “unique to Ureshino” that connects with Ureshino's industries, businesses, and producers. We provide opportunities to experience Ureshino's industries in the guest room space, and play a role as a “hub” to connect local industries and tourists, such as when guests become interested in Ureshino's industries and businesses, go out into the city, and visit its businesses and producers. By creating opportunities for tourists to visit Ureshino's town, businesses, and producers, we aim to revitalize the local economic cycle.

Three elements “unique to Ureshino” in guest rooms

  • Ureshino's pottery “Hizen Yoshida-yaki Decoration of guest rooms

    unique to Ureshino Hizen Yoshida-yaki

Four of the five rooms are decorated with Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery pieces, and one room is decorated with Hizen Yoshida-yaki plates for guest room decoration.

  • Delivered directly by tea farmers
is the theme of the Ureshino Tea Set

unique to Ureshino Ureshino Tea Set

The tea served in the guest rooms is selected with the concept of tea delivered directly to customers by tea farmers, and is made with the utmost care by “Chaya Jiro,” a Ureshino tea farmer who operates a “BAR” and “SHOP” in Warakuen. Not only the tea, but also the tea utensils and brewing method are supervised by “Chaya Jiro”.

  • Private guest room bath where you can enjoy “Ureshino Tea Bath”
of Ureshino Onsen x Ureshino Tea

unique to Ureshino Ureshino Tea Bath

All five of the newly renovated rooms have been prepared so that you can enjoy the Ureshino Tea Bath, which is synonymous with WARAKUEN. All of the baths in the rooms are free-flowing spring water, and tea baths can be taken by adding a packet of tea for a tea bath.

Guest room

朧月OBOROZUKI

Room size:79.23 m2

The ceiling is made of concrete, the floor is tiled, the walls are plastered and painted, and the windows have shoji screens, creating a unique contrast between Japanese and Western styles. In this space, there is a moon motif artwork made of ceramic pieces from “Tsujiyo Pottery” and “Eguchi Pottery,” both of which are Hizen Yoshida-yaki potteries in Ureshino. The moon on the floor is exactly “Oboro Tsuki”. The moon is reflected on the floor in the “Oboro Tsuki” style, and there is even a “rabbit” in the ceramic art.
A projector is also installed, and the white plaster walls can be used as a theater room with a 100-inch screen.
The baths include an oversized indoor bath and two outdoor baths, one of which is an open-air bath. One of the open-air baths is a yunomi (teacup) bath by Kinryugama, an Arita-yaki pottery kiln. The noshi patterns in the baths show the changing of the seasons. You will enjoy a moment that can only be experienced in this room.

新月SHINGETSU

Room size:81.23 m2

The color tone of the evening is based on the image of a new moon, and is decorated with ceramic shards from “Sousen Pottery,” a kiln of Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery in Ureshino. The shimmering polka dots on the ceramic pieces are like stars on a new moon day.
A spacious indoor bath and two open-air baths are available in the Japanese and Western-style guest rooms. One of the open-air baths is a yunomi (teacup) bath by the Arita-yaki pottery company, Kinryugama. A truly masterpiece peony flower welcomes you with a large flower in bloom.

三日月MIKAZUKI

Room size:81.22 m2

The crescent moon is decorated mainly with color tones expressing cute warmth, and with ceramic pieces from “Soemasa Seitosho” and “Shinnippon Seitosho”, potteries of Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery in Ureshino. The crescent moon is expressed as cute in the moon phase. This cute is expressed in a space “unique to Ureshino”. It is a fun room to look for your favorite piece of pottery.
You can spend a relaxing time in a Japanese/Western style room with a spacious indoor bath.

弓張月YUMIHARITSUKI

Room size:54.50 m2

Yumiharizuki refers to the age of the moon, which is close to half-moon, and the name comes from the shape of the moon, which looks like a bow drawn across it.
We have taken the Yumihari-moon as half Japanese element and half key element to create a space that blends Japanese and Western elements, and a guest room with a cosmic theme. The room is decorated with ceramic shards from “Soetake Pottery Works” and “Eguchi Pottery Works” of Hizen Yoshida Pottery in Ureshino as accents. The surface of the ceramic shards is considered as the universe, and a steel motif with the image of the moon and planets is placed on top of it.
The ceiling is made of bare concrete, the floor is made of tiles, the walls are plastered, and the windows have shoji screens, creating a space where Japanese and Western elements contrast with each other to create a space that evokes the universe.
The guestrooms are also equipped with a theater room, with a 130-inch plaster wall as a screen, where guests can enjoy Internet content and other programs.
Although the bath is an indoor bath, it has a garden where you can enjoy the changing seasons and a waterfall in front of it. The bath is as luxurious as an open-air bath.

満月MANGETSU

Room size:62.40 m2

The full moon is a beautiful moon, a moon of fullness, a symbol of power. In the “New Moon,” “Crescent Moon,” and “Bow Moon” rooms, ceramic shards were used because the moon was also missing, but the “Full Moon” is a moon that is full. Therefore, Hizen Yoshida-yaki plates are used as wall decorations. The wall with 31 hand-painted plates from Tsujiyo Seitosho, a Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery in Ureshino, lined up in a row is truly a sight to behold. It is truly a gallery. The Japanese and Western-style rooms are designed to provide a comfortable space for any guest.
Although the bath is an indoor bath, it has a garden where you can enjoy the changing seasons and a waterfall in front of it. The bath is as luxurious as an open-air bath.
